The Step Back might refer to taking a step back to a time when cocktails were classy, simple, and bitter. Those are my favorite types and that’s why Existing Conditions stole my heart again with another brilliant creation. This super easy drinking blend of amari and bitters is smoky, herbal, and refreshing. Capertif (a vermouth-like aperitif), Sfumato (a smoky bitter fruit amaro), dry vermouth, and champagne acid create this very exciting and unique sipper.
