My family and I have become regular visitors to Chikalicious Dessert Bar. It was a date spot for me once upon a time and now we visit it on every special occasion in the neighborhood. This year, they were kind enough to send us a mid-dessert tasting of their decadent black truffle ice cream. Not only are the intoxicating truffle aromas in the base but a few earthy truffles are shaved over top. If this sounds too unconventional for you, know that my two year old son loved this so much that I only got a small taste. The kid’s got good taste.
