Ciao, Gloria just opened in a very generic looking corporate building in Brooklyn. The outside of it made me sad, but the inside was cheery and exciting. And I actually really enjoyed this PEC, which is an Italian twist on the classic Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwich. Since this establishment touts itself as a bakery first, the seasoned brioche bun is expectedly exceptional. Between the bread is a tender egg, crispy prosciutto, scarmoza cheese, and two sauces: an herbal pesto and a mildly spicy Calabrese aioli. Looks can be deceiving. Price: $10
