It’s no secret that I am a sucker for coffee-flavored things. So when I discovered the Goldeneye cocktail at undersung cocktail den Sweet Polly, I was sold. I was skeptical at first that this was a vodka based drink, but the neutral spirit ended up letting the roasty bitter notes come out without adding too much more to the party. Cold brew coffee was heightened by two amari (Cynar and Averna), sherry, dry vermouth, and molé bitters. It was balanced and tame but could easily sneak up on you. Price: $16
