I’ve heard tell of the secret breakfast cart from the owners of Los Tacos No. 1 that comes out in the middle of Chelsea Market in the morning hours. I’m rarely up and in Chelsea Market at that hour, but when I finally found myself there before the crowds, I was so pleased to try one of these breakfast tacos. The flour tortillas are made with lard and are so full of flavor before the overstuffed eggs, potatoes, cheese, and bacon even get involved. They’re so good they make me wonder why I would start my day anywhere else. Price: $4
