THE SPOT: Ask many North Brooklynites about their favorite pizza and you might hear Fini’s name come up – maybe not as often as Best Pizza and L’Industrie, but enough to make you wonder. Fini debuted during a wave of pizzeria openings in this part of Williamsburg in 2022. From Sean Feeney (aka, Fini), one of the owners of Italian restaurant Lilia and formerly of the finance world, this place has already expanded to locations in Long Island and the Barclays Center. No doubt South Beach is next.
THE STYLE: The Williamsburg location is very barebones, made for take out with just a few stools. The exposed white brick walls are a bit cold, although many people seem to linger outside, especially on nicer days.
As for the pizza itself, this is in the new-wave of gas oven slices – both nostalgic and modern. The menu consists of just a few choices none under $4.
THE PIZZA: I’ve heard good things about their white slice and Long Hot Shallot, but Cheese it was for my first taste. It came to me on a greasy paper plate and I have to say it was not as visually appealing as I had hoped. Perhaps a bit of oregano or basil would have brightened it up.
While it was a bit messy, the flavors were pretty spot-on. The cheese had a nice tang that melded with the sweet acidic tomato sauce. And the crust was phenomenal – crisp and chewy with the proper browned underside. It tastes much better than it looks.
THE RATING: 8.5 out of 10 for a great addition to the Williamsburg pizza slice wars. These points are not for the visual component, but for the expertly cooked cheese slice with quality components.

You definitely should return and try their other options. They are amazing, and Fini is my preferred BK pizza spot.
Thanks! I have heard great things so definitely need to return. Is there a specific slice you recommend?
The White and Pepper/Shallot are both amazing.
