BRIAN’S 100 BEST ’19: TINY JUICY IPA at FIVE BOROUGHS BREWING COMPANY

I’m counting down the 100 best dishes I tasted in 2019…

Big bold high-alcohol beers are still the rage in the craft beer world. Whether it’s a giant pastry stout or an extra-bitter IPA, big and bad is sometimes thought of as better. But I am sometimes attracted to the simple and easy drinking. Enter Five Boroughs sessional Tiny Juicy IPA. It’s not big and bold, but tiny and bold and absolutely delicious. It had juicy tropical notes with a slight hint of bitterness and at only 4.2% ABV, it is something I could drink all day long.
