LOCALS KNOW: FLAVOURS OF VILNIUS in VILNIUS, LITHUANIA (Video)

I never thought I’d find my way to Lithuania, but now that I’ve been, I’m eager to go back. The capital of Vilnius is surprisingly modern, artsy, and loaded with delicious hearty food. If you don’t like beer, meat, and bread, there is also a cooling vegetarian soup that is bright pink and tastes as good as it looks. And I taste it all on the latest episode of Locals Know.

My local guide Rasa from Vilnius Urban Adventures is in love with her city and that passion is infectious. She takes me through traditional markets (where I got handed brown bread and cured meat) into an historic hunter’s restaurant for famous dishes and to a local craft brewery for well, beer. These are all the Flavours of Vilnius and it’s a tour worth adding to your itinerary.
