In 2007, a law was passed called the NY Farm Distillery Act which has enabled small distilleries to open at an affordable price as long as 75% of their ingredients come from New York farms. Thankfully, this started an onslaught of new local distillers in the city. And it all began with Kings County which is currently in the historic Brookly Navy Yard producing some might fine bourbon, moonshine, and chocolate whiskey. We talk about them and others on the new Urban Adventures Craft Cocktail Tour.
