VILLAGE VOICE LETS BROOKLYN POUR ON SATURDAY

I’m very excited for this craft beer event on Saturday and you should be too. The Village Voice is hosting the 2nd annual Brooklyn Pour on Saturday, October 6. It will take place at Skylight One Hanson (which hosts the Brooklyn Flea in winter) in Fort Greene and will feature an unbelievable amount of craft brewers. Local stalwarts like 508, Brooklyn Brewery, Bronx Brewery, Blue Point, Birreria, Captain Lawrence, Chelsea Brewing Company, Empire, Harlem Brewing Company, Kelso, Sixpoint, Southampton, and the new Rockaway Brewing Company (from Queens!) will all be on hand pouring samples of their wares. And those are just the local breweries!!

Tickets are only $45 for general admission and include tastes of over 100 beers. Since there are two separate sessions (one from 1-4 and another from 6-9), my guess is this will be a well-organized event and the lines will be minimal. You can check out more info and purchase tickets here.
