Choice Eats Returns Tonight with Gutbomb Possibilities

Choice_Eats_hmVillage Voice’s annual Choice Eats event signifies the return of spring. Now if only mother nature would get on board with that idea.

Regardless of the weather, lots of people will descend on Basketball City tonight on Pier 36 to sample food and drinks from over 70 different restaurants. I’m excited to discover some new gastronomic delights, like broccoli hot dogs from Dirt Candy and a long bean salad from Bunker (maybe my new favorite restaurant) and I plan to re-visit some old favorites, like cookies and brownies from Robicelli’s and the coconut crunchy rice from Khe-Yo.

But you don’t have to live vicariously through me. General admission tickets are still available at the door tonight. Details and directions are available at the website here. Hope to see you at the event.
