LOCALS KNOW: HISTORIC DOWNTOWN PUB CRAWL in HOUSTON, TEXAS

Come back on Wednesdays for another funny, informative video documenting my inept food adventures. In Locals Know, I explore a new city through the tours of Urban Adventures.

There are many places in the world to do your own pub crawl, but one of the most interesting might just be Houston, Texas. Not only is everything bigger in Texas (including the drinks), but there is a lot of surprising history in a small block downtown radius that is also centered around booze.

Leave it to Houston Urban Adventures to introduce me to four watering holes I would never have discovered on my own. And even if I did, I would have needed my local guide Dre to fill me in on the history and stories of places like an old watchmaker building or a bar housing the oldest electric elevator in the state. The latest episode of Locals Know is a full-on Historic Downtown Pub Crawl and it’s an evening of sloppy informative fun.
