Come back every Wednesday for another funny, informative video documenting my inept food adventures. In Locals Know, I explore a new city through the tours of Urban Adventures.
In New York, we have artsy and diverse neighborhoods like Williamsburg, Astoria, and the Lower East Side. They are incredible places. But I wish we had the colorful and food-centric enclave called Kensington Market. That one is in Toronto.
Since it’s adjacent to the city’s Chinatown, it makes sense that Toronto Urban Adventures hosts a tour of the two neighborhoods together – Kensington Market & Chinatown. It’s a great way to explore the awesome street art hidden down secret alleys, meet some of the locals who populate the bohemian area, and get a sense of which restaurants and food shops are the ones to visit.
Watch the newest episode of Locals Know to see what the tour is all about and then get more info about it by clicking here. Toronto is a very quick plane ride away and if you’ve never been or it’s been a while, you owe yourself at least a weekend away. It’s a really cool town!
