100 BEST ’18: CHEESE SLICE at NY PIZZA SUPREMA

I’m counting down the 100 best dishes I tasted in 2018…

Steps from Penn Station, is a great example of that classic 80’s/90’s era cheap gas oven slice of pizza. The crust at NY Pizza Suprema is thin as expected and surprisingly very crisp. Cheese is the main focus here and it’s plentiful and fresh with a well-rounded tangy tomato sauce underneath. I have a new recommendation for the best quick, cheap slice in Midtown. Price: $3.50
