I’m counting down the 100 best dishes I tasted in 2015…
I might have to claim Oiji, the modern refined Korean small plates joint, the best new restaurant of 2015. All the food is excellent! One of the highlights for me was a luxurious bowl of rich, seafood broth with a hint of truffles. It’s populated with shrimp, scallops, and mussels. And then the crowning acheivement is the garnish of two sizzling bricks of crispy rice. The rice softens and melts into the soup soaking up every ounce of flavor. Price: $20
