100 BEST ’15: DEVILED EGGS at BAR SARDINE

I’m counting down the 100 best dishes I tasted in 2015…

SADLY, BAR SARDINE IS NOW CLOSED.

Deviled Eggs at BAR SARDINE

I rarely discover deviled eggs that are unique or different. I guess a mustard or mayo based yolk filling with paprika and spices is pretty good, so why mess with it too much? I almost always know what I’m going to get. The Japanese-influenced deviled eggs at Bar Sardine (also home to this year’s best burger) are unique and amazing. They are strikingly brown and black with an egg that’s filled with black garlic and soy and topped with some crunchy and flavorful garnishes. Price: $4
