Cavatelli at MEADOWSWEET

Pasta seems so simple, but when you get a perfectly composed plate (no matter how small), you realize you can’t underestimate the difficulty in execution. Meadowsweet has proven they are a serious neighborhood restaurant with excellent food this year. Their homemade pastas rotate seasonally, but when I visited I was lucky enough to taste their rich and delicate cavatelli which soaked up the juices from fatty braised oxtail and was balanced by a tangy, herbal blanket of ricotta cheese. Price: $16
