My search for the best hot dog in New York continues….
Of all the high end hot dogs I’ve been reviewing on this blog, I think DBGB might be at the highest end of the spectrum. At $9, it’s definitely the most expensive one yet and it’s curated by a master charcutier from France (Gilles Verot). Of course it’s made in house and is topped by only the finest, complimentary ingredients.
Not that the semi-casual restaurant feels as stuffy and high end as all that. This beer bar/burger café/sausage haven has a very open and relaxed vibe. On my third (and most official) visit, I sat at the bar and ordered the cheapest sausage on the menu.
