You don’t need to hike all the way out to the beach to get a taste of some great beer. Rockaway Brewing Company did start out in the Rockaways (and their beer continues to be offered out there), but their physical brewery is in a much more manageable Long Island City locale. Their beers are fresh and accessible and are perfect for people who want beer to “taste like beer”.
