The Thai food scene in Queens continues to heat up and it’s been hard for me to keep up with it since I moved out of the borough. Thankfully, the 7 train will get me there. That’s how I got to try these beautiful little appetizers at Kitchen 79. I usually skip over curry puffs because they tend to be greasy and one note. Not here. They’re also livened up by a side of sweet vinegary cucumber salad. Price: $5.95
