NYC BREWERY TOUR: Paulaner Bräuhaus

Each Friday, I get a lesson in the NYC brewery scene in these funny and informative videos promoting Urban Oyster’s NYC Brewery Tour

SADLY, PAULANER BRAUHAUS IS NOW CLOSED.

I love traveling to other cities and countries and trying their local beer. So when I’m in New York, I like to drink the beer that is made in this city. It doesn’t get any fresher than that. So you rarely find me drinking German or British beer – unless I’m doing research or studying for an upcoming tour or trip.

Meredith catches me with a bottle of Paulaner (made in Germany) and tells me that I can stay local when drinking this classic Munich beer. How is that possibloe? Well, it turns out Paulaner has opened a bräuhaus (brewpub) right in the center of Lower Manhattan. That means I can get fresh, local New York beer that also happens to be traditional and completely German
