Each Friday, I get a lesson in the NYC brewery scene in these funny and informative videos promoting Urban Oyster’s NYC Brewery Tour
This year we went from having just a handful of local breweries to having an ever-growing scene of craft brewers. As of this writing, the number of NYC breweries is fast approaching 17 and every single borough is represented (even Staten Island!)
So, for the last few months, I’ve been helping Urban Oyster launch a brewery by bus tour that takes people to a revolving roster of four breweries. We thought it would be great for the tour (and the breweries) to create a new video series featuring a different brewery each week.
We teamed up with Meredith and Hayley (from Beerded Ladies) and the first episode is below. I thought I knew about the amazing beer scene in New York, but I quickly learn I’ve got nothing on these ladies.
The first episode documents Singlecut Beersmiths, a rocking brewery in the middle of suburban Astoria.
